Project: Pool Mosaic Covering. Coral Gables, Miami, FL, USA. Ceramic tile

A pool that recreates a river of color in motion, with shades of water that move from the perimeter deck, entering the interior of the pool, like a waterfall, cross the entire length of it, to finally emerge over the opposite end.

The surface surrounding the pool was covered with coral stone from the Dominican Republic, using irregular pieces that, assembled properly, formed a continuous and uniform surface.

The interior of the pool and all the art was made in 1 x 1 inch venecita tiles, applied manually and according to the design, in order to achieve the projected composition.

The design is inspired by the pixelation of the digital image, whose purpose is to create a kinetic effect through the movement of water, which generates the integration of colors.
