Moca Museum Fence
Project: design and production of Main Frontal fence. North Miami FL, USA. Anodized Aluminum
Inspired by the Flower of Life of the Osiris temple, which became a pattern matrix representing a Human Net, visual allegory of a new humanity. In the center of each flower you can see a human being whose limbs extend to join others in harmony.
The Flower of Life is the most important design of sacred geometry, the most important symbol of the origin of Creation and the essence of nature.
It was made of solid aluminum. The plot of the design was set in a water jet, from several pieces of 4 x 8 feet, which were then welded, taking it to the scale of the modules. These were then covered with hollow aluminum frames, in order to avoid overloading the weight of the fence, finally incorporating a movement system with industrial aluminum hinges.
The scope of the work was a challenge, being a piece of 28 feet long and 6 feet high, completely tailored to close an existing space.
